Thank you, Missouri, for rejecting the terrible Republican ideas of Amendments 4 and 5. These examples should confirm for you that the current leadership is NOT working for you. We should stop electing people that try to overturn your wishes.

The policies of tax cuts for the wealthy have left us in dire straits without proper funding for schools. Not to mention all the other things we could do for people. It's no way to run a state, or a country.

It's also clear that wealth inequality is the issue of the day. The stock market is at record highs while working people are having trouble buying food. We can do better.

I believe we should roll back the recent tax cuts and instead raise wages for everyday Missourians. The way to grow the economy is from the bottom up.

I take solace in the fact that Missouri is still very much paying attention. And I thank you for that.
